Singer Catherine Tumusiime, popularly known as Kapa Cat, opened up about her love life, revealing that she is currently single but remains open to dating when she finds someone she connects with.

The singer explained that although she is not dating at the moment, she occasionally gets into relationships when she meets someone who understands her and matches her energy.

Describing herself as a sweet and loyal lover, Kapa Cat said she becomes fully committed when she chooses someone, allowing them to discover a side of her personality that is rarely seen by the public.

Right now, no. But I do date. I get people that understand me. I’m sweet, loyal, and when I choose you, you will know everything about me. We do everything together.

She added that this private side of her is known mainly to the people closest to her, noting that many of her fans might be surprised to discover how she behaves in a romantic relationship.

The singer also shared details about her past relationships, revealing that her longest romance lasted four years.

She disclosed that she has also been in another relationship that lasted three years, while her most recent relationship ended after approximately two and a half years.

I’ve had a four-year-long relationship and a three-year one. This one that just ended was two and a half, I think.

Despite the end of her latest romance, Kapa Cat insisted that she is not nursing a broken heart, arguing that she has little time to dwell on heartbreak in today’s dating scene.

“Right now, I’m not nursing a heartbreak because in this generation there’s no such thing anymore. There’s no time for those things.”

Away from her love life, Kapa Cat also explained why she no longer regularly performs at concerts organised by fellow musicians, as she used to do in the past.
